Topping out at 720 contributors and more than $100,000, the Kickstarter campaign for Grisaia: Phantom Trigger the Animation has successfully paved the way for the upcoming. The amount means not only some very nice fight scenes in our future, but also the promised stretch goal of an English dub.
Having met both conditions for the English dub goal (more than $100k in donations or more than 700 backers), Frontwing released the news of the English language dub track, as well as confirmation that the BD release of Phantom Trigger will be region-free. They also released a sneak peek at some of the storyboards for the upcoming series:

The voice actresses bringing the series's new generation of killer ladies to life also had a few words on the upcoming release.
Maaya Uchida (voice of Rena):
"In the game, I got to play a rampaging Rena, an endearing Rena, and a cool Rena! I'm really excited to see all these Renas in the anime! I hope you're looking forward to it, too!"
Ayane Sakura (voice of Tohka):
"Phantom Trigger's cast of characters are finally springing to life in the anime adaptation, and I'm really happy to continue to be a part of it. Phantom Trigger is full of unfortunate girls who are often suffering, so please enjoy that as well as the story itself."
Kaori Nazuka (voice of Chris):
"I'm really happy that Phantom Trigger is being made into an anime! I hope Chris's cute and motherly, stern-but-smiling personality comes through well on-screen. I can't wait to see it!♪"
Grisaia: Phantom Trigger is based on the game of the same name from the best-selling franchise. According to the official summary:
Following the Heath Oslo incident, the existence of the US-Japanese anti-terror organization CIRS has become a matter of public knowledge. CIRS has been rebuilt from the ground up, and its most covert functions spun off to a new agency: SORD (Social Ops, Research & Development).
Mihama Academy, more-or-less left to rot after its abrupt closure, has been given new purpose as one of SORD’s 'specialist training school'.
This new incarnation of Mihama Academy is home to a diverse group of students, who every day work to polish their unusual skills - sometimes on the job. Mihama now entrusts the misfit girls who attend it with guns and live ammunition.
Paying their own safety no heed, these students are again and again plunged into dangerous extrajudicial missions - all for the good of the realm.
No matter how much life grinds them down, what future awaits these girls, who've themselves chosen the path of the gun?
